Code Library Available
CU-Y Noritake code libraries allow you to access the core functionality of Noritake VFDs. The code library contains initialization, configuration file, and interface options (parallel and serial) to communicate with the host.

Y series offers module with same PCB size as 20x2 but has 24 characters by 4 lines or 7 mm character height and 24 characters by 6 lines in 20x4 display size.

International Font Tables
Y-Series comes standard with built in international font tables. Font tables include English, UK English, French, German, Danish, Swedish, Italian, Spanish (de facto), Spanish (Castilian), Japanese, Norwegian, Latin America, and Korean.
Descender
Descender is part of a lowercase letter such as g, j, p, and q that extends below the other lowercase letters. Compared to standard ASCII characters, descender gives lowercase fonts the natural feel of the font tables found in word processor program.
